    Five-Layer Co-Extruded Blown PE Film
It is produced by professional five-layer co-extruded blown molding process with a rigorous and efficient workflow: First, five independent extruders are used to melt and plasticize raw materials with different functions (such as enhancing barrier properties, improving toughness) at high temperatures; then, the five kinds of molten raw materials are accurately transported to the same composite die to realize the co-extrusion of multi-layer raw materials; after the extruded composite film material flows out of the die orifice, it is inflated by high-pressure air to form a film bubble, which is pulled upward by the traction system at the same time; during the process, the film bubble is quickly shaped by the cooling system, then flattened and trimmed, and finally wound into a flat PE film. The whole process ensures that the functional layers are tightly integrated and the performance is stable.
    Core Advantages
    1
Wide Service Fields Can meet the professional needs of food, hygiene packaging materials and pharmaceutical packaging materials enterprises, adapting to various high-demand packaging scenarios.
    2
Superior to Three-Layer Co-Extrusion Compared with three-layer co-extrusion, the five-layer structure can distribute functional layers more accurately (such as setting independent barrier layers and reinforcement layers), greatly improving the comprehensive performance of the film such as tensile resistance, puncture resistance and gas barrier properties, and adapting to more complex packaging needs.
    3
Precise and Controllable Feeding The equipment feeding system is fully equipped with a weight-per-meter control system, no manual mixing is required. The automated system accurately controls the dosage of each layer of raw materials, ensuring the accuracy of raw material ratio. The production data is recorded in real time and traceable, greatly improving the batch stability of products.
    4
High Thickness Uniformity Equipped with an automatic air ring system, it can monitor the diameter and thickness of the film bubble in real time, automatically adjust the cooling air volume and wind speed, ensuring that the film thickness uniformity is controlled within 3~5%, and avoiding the impact of uneven thickness on subsequent processing.
    5
Strict Finished Product Quality Inspection Each batch of finished products undergoes multi-dimensional quality inspection before leaving the factory, covering physical properties (such as tensile strength, heat-sealing strength, puncture resistance), appearance (such as film surface flatness, presence of impurities or spots) and dimensional accuracy (such as width and length deviation), ensuring that every roll of film delivered meets quality standards.
    6
Professional Packaging and Transportation The finished products are tightly wrapped with stretch film, and then fixed and packaged with standard pallets, which effectively prevents the film from getting damp, being contaminated with dust or loose rolls due to collision during transportation, ensuring that the products are delivered to customers in good condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions
What is five-layer co-extruded blown PE film and how is it made?
Five-layer co-extruded blown PE film is produced by simultaneously extruding five different functional raw material layers through a single composite die. The molten materials are inflated into a film bubble using high-pressure air, cooled and shaped rapidly, then flattened and wound into finished rolls. This process ensures tight bonding between layers and consistent performance throughout the film.
What are the main advantages of five-layer co-extrusion over three-layer co-extrusion?
The five-layer structure allows for more precise distribution of functional layers — including dedicated barrier layers and reinforcement layers — compared to three-layer co-extrusion. This results in significantly improved tensile resistance, puncture resistance, and gas barrier properties, making it suitable for more demanding and complex packaging applications.
What industries and applications is this PE film suitable for?
This five-layer co-extruded blown PE film is designed to meet the professional requirements of food packaging, hygiene product packaging, and pharmaceutical packaging industries. Its high-performance characteristics make it adaptable to a wide range of high-demand packaging scenarios that require superior barrier, strength, and sealing properties.
How is film thickness consistency ensured during production?
The production line is equipped with an automatic air ring system that monitors the diameter and thickness of the film bubble in real time. It automatically adjusts the cooling air volume and wind speed to maintain film thickness uniformity within a tolerance of 3~5%, preventing quality issues caused by uneven thickness during downstream processing.
What quality inspections are performed before the finished product is shipped?
Every batch of finished film undergoes comprehensive multi-dimensional quality inspection prior to shipment. This includes physical property testing (tensile strength, heat-sealing strength, puncture resistance), appearance inspection (surface flatness, absence of impurities or spots), and dimensional accuracy verification (width and length deviation), ensuring all delivered rolls meet established quality standards.
How are the finished PE film rolls packaged and protected during transportation?
Finished rolls are tightly wrapped with stretch film to prevent moisture absorption and dust contamination. They are then secured and packaged on standard pallets to minimize the risk of loose rolls or physical damage during transit. This careful packaging process ensures that every product arrives at the customer's facility in excellent condition.
